Little Lesson

Kwii is future tense
Example:
Kwii-wiisin na? Do you want to eat?
Kwii-wiisin. You will eat
Kwii-nbaa. You will sleep
Kwii-kinoomaage nongo-naakshig -You will teach this evening.

Kii-is past tense
Example:
Kii-wiisin na? Did you eat?
Kii-wiisin-You ate
Kiinbaa-you slept

Now in this case the "I" drops. You are familiar hearing from your parents "wiisini(n)
that "n" at the end of this word is what makes it a command.

Example:
Wiisini(n) EAT
Nbaa(n) SLEEP
Zhaa(n) GO
etc.

As I was saying with the "I", the word wiisini means He/she is eating
then the "I" drops in other instances. (Also this happens to the "o")

Example:
Ndi-wiisin-I am eating
Gdi-wiisin-you are eating

Giigido-he/she is talking/speaking
Ndi-giigid-I am speaking/talking
Gdi-giigid-You are speaking/talking

Bigizo-to swim/he/she is swimming
Ndi-bigiz-I am swimming
etc

There! here is your mini lesson! - See you on April 9!
